A Labour of Love….

There are dozens of people working voluntarily to bring The Wight Book to life, and the all-Island creative team is headed up by:

Brian Marriott has been tempted out of retirement to do what he does best; design and project manage this ambitious book. Along with Barnaby Edwards, Brian is driving the styling of the book and ensuring its completion.

Ben Wood has assembled a first class team of professional Island-based photographers. Along with contributing his own work to the project, Ben has served as picture editor. Gary Wallis has worked closely with Ben to undertake the portrait photography of the team and chosen writers. The photography team also includes Neil Williams, Peter Mumford, Holly Jolliffe, Julian Winslow, Christian Beasley, Jason Swain, Nick Edwards and Stephanie Mackrill and Braeden Cary.

Michelle Russell heads The Wight Book PR team. Matt Jeffery of Bright Bulb Design is driving the social media plan and James Chastney developed and is managing The Wight Book website.

Tim Sell is managing the print process of approximately 240 pages of full-colour photos and first-person accounts. 300mm square and white leather bound and embossed, this will be a very special book.

Dr Paul Richardson, an experienced Editorial Consultant and Christian Warren, Editor of Style of Wight oversee editorial decisions related to the 22 first-person accounts of island life.

Other members of the Island-based team include Anmarie Bowler, David Whistance and Gilly Hall.
