How I got involved with The Wight Book

I heard about the book through Chris Scott. He and I have known each other for almost 20 years – in fact he sold us our first house on the Island!

I went to meet him in his office and as he started to tell me about the project.  I soon realised that this was much more than just a book….  it was a coming together of the Island’s best talent to collectively produce something truly remarkable. And as such it was immediately something that I wanted to be a part of.

Like most who live and work here, we are passionate about the Island – not just the place but the people too. It is a hub of talent and innovation and our goal as a business is to provide them with the tools and support they need to achieve the success they deserve. The book is a conduit for this talent – a showcase for the Island at its very best. And so, to be involved, even in a small way, is a privilege.

Tell us about the film you have created.

The film is a 60” commercial that shows off the book in all its colour, fascination and diversity. We hope that anyone seeing the film will be excited by the prospect of finding out more by visiting the website.… and maybe become part of the elite group that owns one of these fantastic books.
